Complaint Procedure
The CAS staff understand that their intervention in your family is often unsolicited and may be experienced as an infringement of your privacy. This may upset you or even anger you at times. You are invited to express your feelings appropriately and talk them over with your CAS worker.
As a client, you may also have concerns, reservations, or disagreements regarding the service you receive from the CAS.
Your CAS protection worker will address your concerns as they arise. As a first step, discuss your concerns with the worker. If you are not satisfied with the response, then contact your worker's supervisor.
If you feel that the CAS worker and the supervisor did not deal satisfactorily with your concerns, you may request a formal complaint review. Upon request, the worker or the supervisor will give you information about the CAS’s complaint review procedure and will provide you with the name of the service director to whom you may direct your formal complaint.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY TO CALL!
